Use of the Eos-80D's 'Flippy Screen' and the Live-View' function allowed this shot over the top of the 7ft high spiky fence that surrounds Stoke Gifford yard of 66504.Allowing a nice portrait of this quite rare livery.

This working the 11:06 from Margen to Westbury/Eastleigh '0O12' was for several years quite famous for comprising up to as many as 10 locomotives going off for wekend engineering works at eithe Westbury or eastleigh. However with DB seemingly rapidly losing interest in targeting any work these days this trian usually only comprises of two, maybe three engines.DB seeming now has lost the will to live? Anyway here ar DB-Red 66131 along with EWS-66087 running through Patchway, althogh booked to go all the way to Eastleigh terminated at Westbury.

A nicely looked-after 'Tug' 60046 'William Wilberforce' speeds down through Clink with the Cappagh empty JNA's going to Merehead for a load of aggregates. This runs as '6Z60' the 10:40 away from Willesden DCR-Sdg's.

Annoyingly I thought I had missed this one as it was supposed to depart Westbury two hours ago but happily I spotted it in the distance at Berkley nr Frome just as I was about to cycle off back home! So here is '3Q14' the 10:21 from Westbury to Westbury via Weymouth running much later than booked thankfully.Colas's 37175 leads just catching a spot of brightish sunlight with classmate 37219 on the rear of this longish 6 carriage set.

The first fully reliveried and overhauled Class-43 for Colas 43277 'Safety Task Force' heads '1Q18' the 07:48 from Derby-RTC to Bristol Kingsland Road on the return from Yeovil-Pen Mill.Ex Arriva-XC 43357 now being on the rear after the Yeovil reverse. Viewed at a pretty dull Berkley Marsh at 1600-iso but worth it for my first shot of 43277!

HST Power-Car 43357 is now discarded by Arriva-XC but has found further use with 'Colas' powering Test-Trains.It was either that or being scrapped or export to Mexico! So here is '1Q18' the 07:48 from Derby-RTC to Bristol-Kingsland Road via Yeovil-Pen Mill with the ex-Arriva-XC 43357 leading. On the rear is former LNER 43277 which is now sporting Colas colors.Viewed at Berkley nr Frome.

G&W-Tango 59202 powers away from Clink Road Junction hauling '6A18' the 09:18 from Whatley bound for Oxford-Banbury Road.Shame the sunshine from last week in Tenerife wasn't available here in dull-dull Somerset!
..20 march 2023..
59104 & 59001 head '7A40' the 08:40 from Merehead to Hanwell Bridge Loop where this working wil no doubt be split into two portions before going on to their final destinations. All because DB want to charge extortionate rates for using Acton Yard for this same purpose..Basically a case of greed and vindictiveness if you ask me?

Having spent a lot of the early part of March cruising around the Canary Islands my only railway themed shot there was this little 0-4-0T encased in a glass-box protruding out of the 'Elder Museum of Science and Technology'.This building is located in Las Palmas-Gran Canaria. The loco is numbered 020-207 but is actually 020-0235.Its location inside this building is actually in the cafeteria!
