EuroPorte GBRf (After 01 August 2021)
A growing Concern mainly based in the South and East of the Country. This band of locomotives has by far the most diverse selection of liveries applied to them since introduction in 2002.79 loco's are in the sub-class.One however 66734 has been broken up in Sept-2013 due to an accident and the impossibility of recovering it fully intact! A further 10 were added in late 2018 when the Company purchased additional locomotives from DB.
66721 'Harry Beck' in its London-Underground Map Livery albiet looking extreemly filthy passes Arn Hill with '6O31' the 17:30 engineering working from Westbury Down-TC to Eastleigh East Yard.Todays load is a rake of 14 rusty old long stored 4-wheelers that are destined to be scrapped.Pictured in sadly very dull conditions at Arn Hill just over the crest of the Upton-Scudamore Bank.
..7 september 2023..
GBRf's Palidromic 66766 'Gail Richardson' hauls its fully loaded '4M46' the 14:24 from Southampton Western Docks to Trafford Park up through Kings Sutton under a cloudless sky.

Here is an ex-Continental Class-66 now on the GBRf loco lists as of 2019.It still wears most of its old Beacon-Rail livery from its time in Europe (Sweden). Now numbered 66791 with basic GBRf lettering it is seen doing a spot of shunting in rather dire conditions at Westburt Up-TC.
..22 july 2023..

..30 may 2023..
Todays '6M26' the 08:50 from Eastleigh East Yard to Mountsorrel passes Worting Junction nr Basingstoke with 66708 'Glory to Ukraine' leading.Sadly the skies were still somewhat less than bright but it was nice to see this dedicated GBRf loco, with a sentiment we all share adorning its flanks.
..30 may 2023..
The 10:14 from Westbury to Eastleigh engineering working was listed as '6O41' but in fact it was a light engine(0O41).This was damned annoying as this rarity Railfreight liveried 66794 was doing to duty...So here is that loco speeding though Wylye on its tod....Oh Well!
..4 april 2023..
GBRf's 66702 'Blue Lightening' looking quite smart heading '6V41' the 14:50 from Eastleigh-East Yard to Westbury Down-TC engineers working. Its load being a string of matching NR-Yellow JNA bogie wagons.Seen at Arn Hill nr Warminster where the early evening Spring lighting is still pretty bright now at 16:30.

66770 still carries the 'Europorte' style livery as it is seen passing under Saxon Road Footbridge with '4M19' the 11:50 from Southampton Western Docks-GBRf heading for East Midlands Gateway.More often than not it comes away from that particular Dock on the closer track under the hedge thus making photography of it impossible.
..06 february 2023..
This loco 66723 'Chinook' has been allocated to this service the 10:14 Westbury to Eastleigh East Yard '6O41' for some considerable time now. Here seen at Saxon Road in Southampton with its load comprising of a CWR-Train which famously arrived in Westbury off the B&H yesterday with a Class-56 in charge!

..11 july 2022..
This is the latest addition to the GBRf fleet.Nominally the 100th Class-66 in use with that Company. The original 66734 was dismantled on the shore of Loch Treig after it was derailed and was deemed impossible to recover as a complete loco from the perilous position it ended up in.So here is its replacement 10 years after the original ceased to exist thus recompleting the full numerical list of GBRf loco's in the 66/7 series. The new 66734 entered service in this 'Platinum Jubilee' livery to honour our long serving Queen. Here seen on its first run from Eastleigh going to Cardiff-Tidal as '0Z34' the 10:49 & 1/2 from Westbury having travelled up from Eastleigh the previous evening. There is certainly no missing this loco if viewed from a distance that is for sure!

..4 may 2022..
A tricky shot to process given the filthy state of the loco and the high degree of backlighting! Anyway here is the uncharacteristically (for GBRf) filthy 66737 with '6X73' coming up from Goodrington-C.H.S (Paignton) to Westbury-Dn TC with a large Crane-etc in tow.Pictured on the Frome Avoider because this location was as good as it gets at this time of day for sun angle.
..7 april 2022..
As three freights were booked to pass this location at Arn Hill within 30 minutes of each other I made the effort and used my car replacement whilst medically unable to drive, this being a 250w E-Bike.Not bad!it only took 25 mins to get here from Frome (About 7 miles) via Old Dilton. So here is '6V40' the 14:05 from Eastleigh going up to Westbury.GBRf's 66764 'Major John Poynz-Engineer & Railwayman' is seen with a loaded CWR-Train here at Arn Hill nr Warminster.
..25 march 2022..
Here is an interesting working,'6Z77' a rake of steel carriers from Llanwern (15:05 off) going down to Marchwood for storage probably. GBRf's 66781 which was once DB-66016 doing the duty with a fairly lengthy load of 30 SWB covered bogies.Pictured at Church Road in Heywood Village nr Westbury.
..23 march 2022..
Thankfully the returning Eastleigh East Yard to Westbury afternoon engineers ran as '6V40' thus running an hour earlier than its normal '6V41' slot. Today GBRf's 66739 'Bluebell Railway' did the job bringing a CWR-train with it.Here it is at Arn Hill in superb low evening lighting.Note the long long shadows across the fields in the background showing just how close the passing of this train was to sunset!
..12 january 2022..
GBRf's 66792 the Ex-Swedish-Rush Rail Loco T66 405 rolls slowly past Arn Hill nr Warminster as '0V40' from Eastleigh to Westbury.Low lighting and a plentiful supply of grazing sheep complete the picture!

,,26 december 2021..
Amazingly a brief glimpse of weak sunlight coincided with the passing of 66712 'Peterborough Power Signalbox' with '6G70' the 09:00 from Hemerdon to Westbury with a load of spent ballast in NR-JNA's.Seen here at fairwood near Westbury.
..26 december 2021..
GBRf's 66725 'Sunderland' c/w its Football Club Scarf Emblem runs down past Arn Hill nr Warminster with '6V40' the 14:05 from Eastleigh East Yard to Westbury.if it had run in its normal slot an hour later as '6V41' it would have been virtually pitch black! ..25 november 2021..
GBRf's 66775 c/w its Royal Navy Identity as F231 'HMS Argyle' runs up through Berkley Marsh with '6G74' the 09:45 from Exeter St Davids to Westbury Down-TC.Load being mainly a set of Network Rail JNA's with one IEA and one MLA.
..31 october 2021..
This was an unexpected treat! 66721 'Harry Beck' the White LT-Map Loco operated by GBRf was today working '6V40' the 14:05 from Eastleigh East Yard to Westbury bringing a few pieces of an HOBC-Set there presumably to be forwarded to Taunton's Fairwater Yard.Viewed passing Arn Hill nr Warminster. Sadly it went straight back to Eastleigh light-engine so any chance of it tomorrow morning on '6O41' was lost!
..15 september 2021..
66776 'Joanne' which arrived at the Western Docks in Southampton earlier that morning now heads of north again with a train looking to be fully loaded. It is '4M46' the 14:24 from W-Docks to Trafford Park.Seen here gathering speed as it approaches Southampton-Central Station.
..8 september 2021..
The use of fixed formations of container-flat bogie wagons often results in many of them not having a load due to the loading requirements at various terminals. This particular working was actually over 50% loaded but annoyingly all boxes were on the rear half of the formation. So this is '4O46' the 03:10 from Manchester-Trafford Park to Southampton Western Docks-GBRf with 66776 'Joanne'. Seen shortly after stopping briefly in Eastleigh Station to facilitate a crew change.
..8 september 2021..
66715 leads with 66750 on the rear of the returning '6G74' from Crediton (09:00 off) coming back to Westbury after a ballast drop overnight.Seen in a surprise splash of sunlight as it motored past Clink nr Frome.
..3 september 2021..
66776 leads the returning '6G73' the 08:00 from Crediton back up to Westbury.66732 now being the rearmost loco.Seen at Fairwood nr Westbury almost at journey's end.
..27 august 2021..
As can be seen the shadows from the passing train completely covering the field in the background, that was how close to sunset we were when this working passed in the dying embers of a really nice clear sky day. Still worth a shot---just! So here is 66732 with 2 sets of HQA's and one of JJA's plus 66776 on the rear passing Berkley as '6G73' the 19:23 from Westbury going down to Crediton.
